Parttime Translator

Parttime Translator (from English to Simplified/Traditional Chinese)

Job Descriptions:

1. Translate IT, engineering, marketing, financial, medical related materials including manuals, on-line Help, software interface, etc.
2. Join the professional training within the localization department and improve translation skills.

Requirements:

1. 3 years’ (or above) localization project translation experience is preferred; large project experience in IT industry.
2. Ability to deliver timely and effectively while meeting required volume and quality commitments.
3. Strong language capability with the ability to translate technical documents accurately smoothly and with accurate use of industry approved terms.
4. Ability to gather translation materials and accumulate related knowledge.
5. Ability to use CAT tools skillfully, such as Trados, Idiom WorldServer Desktop Workbench is preferred.
6.Much free time and flexible availability.
(Candidates must pass a translation test from Acetrans. Translators will translate into their native language only.)
